Appearance[]
Mr. Roboto appears as a small, black and red digital watch that accurately tells time in a glowing white font. There is an extra button near the power button, which activates Phase 1 Mr. Roboto.
Phase 1 Mr. Roboto appears as a small, silvery cloud that pours out of the watch. It obeys Baritone's vocal and mental orders and can fly. Phase1 will proceed to use the surrounding materials to create more of itself before beginning to construct Phase 2 Mr. Roboto.
Phase 2 Mr. Roboto is simply a number of copies of Baritone, formed from whatever material was nearby, or specified by Baritone. The only differences are that the copies have a group of holes for mouths, similar to speakers, and have no identifiable facial features, having tiny slits for noses, fully average facial shape, and otherwise average appearance. Each clone, regardless of the materials making them up, has a large gem about the size of a heart in the their chest on the right side, inverse to where a heart would be. If this core is destroyed, the clones disintegrates. Their eyes glow red.
Personality[]
The entirety of Mr. Roboto acts as a hivemind, with a hierarchical structure that puts Baritone and the watch at the top, followed by the Phase 1, and last the Phase 2.
Notably, each clone from Phase 2 has a different personality, seemingly random fragments of Baritone's personality. This means that, if not given direct orders, clones may act out of order. It is unknown if this is part of the clones personality or an order from Baritone, but they often whistle Baritone's Theme,which is the Lucky Smells Lumber Mill theme from A Series of Unfortunate Events. (Judge me if you want, but it fits perfectly.) When a robot performs a punch barrage, it shouts "DOMO ARIARIARIARIARIARIARIGATO!"
Abilities (Phase 1)[]
Nanovores[]
Phase 1 Mr. Roboto is actually a cloud of roughly 1000 nanobots. They have the capacity to disassemble nearby things and reconstruct copies of themselves, and they are about as small as a red blood cell. If they reach the optimal number, about 10,000, they will begin to produce phase 2 Mr. Roboto. The nanites are directly controlled by the watch. The nanites can also be commanded to build other things, but they work a lot less efficiently if not making clones.
Infection[]
The nanites are perfectly capable of entering someone's body and even brain, and are able to manipulate fine details of the body, causing devastating effects over time. Baritone chiefly uses this to cause neurons to misfire or manipulate chemical amounts in someone's brain, although with enough time Baritone could easily disassemble someone's entire body. In short, it can be a mind altering flesh eating virus if needed. 1 nanobot working at top speed can destroy an organ in about 10 years, but if all 10,000 work together, it can take as little as 8 hours and 30 minutes. However, they can also be used in more benign ways, such as:
- Dampening the emotions and humanity of bystanders, causing them to not really care what Baritone does as long as it doesn't affect them.
- Location tracking of people who have been infected.
- Cryptomining- Baritone can effectively turn people into bitcoin mines with his nanobots.
- Injecting chemicals into the bloodstream, such as steroids or less legal substances.
- Causing enhanced sensory input. (Reference?)
Abilities (Phase 2)[]
Superior Clones[]
Phase 2 Mr. Roboto is a swarm of between 1 and 100 clones of Baritone, which all follow his orders. They can be made out of anything, in theory, but metal, wood, stone, and other rigid materials have been shown to provide the best results. These clones have no movement restriction, limitless stamina, good durability, and enhanced punching speed & power. Their eyes, ears, and mouths can be used as cameras, recorders, and storage devices respectively, the former 2 being able to transmit directly to the watch. Each clone is equipped with a knife, a pistol, and if Baritone should command the nanites to build it, potentially a few other weapons or tools. These clones are solid, and therefore can be seen by anyone, but they can also hit stands and touch them. The clones are incredibly efficient at most tasks.
Disguise[]
By working together with Piano Man, any given clone can be made to look and sound like someone else, allowing for the creation of false identities and 'Safety Checkers' as Baritone calls them.
