Green Overgrowth (グリーン・オーバーグロース Gurīn Ōbāgurōsu) is a stand featured in Underworld Boogaloo. It is a special integrated stand that features no direct physical power while having two weak special abilities. Despite being displayed as one of the most powerful stands in the series, it was rather weak to start off with. Because it took so long to become a noticeable stand with abilities, its user just assumed that she had no stand in the first place. Its user is Ivy Soul.
In the picture to the right, Green Overgrowth is in affect and is protecting its user in the center.
Abilities[]
The stand's indirect potential destructive power and speed are limitless, depending on what plants the user takes care of.
Empathetic Plants[]
The user can make any plant it takes care of have feelings of love, kindness, and safety towards the user. The care that plants need in order for this ability to work on them means putting hours into making sure the soil is perfect for the plants to grow and the plants receive enough water and fertilizer. While these plants lack the ability to communicate, they will do everything they possibly can to help its user survive and live a healthy life. However, the user has no direct control over these plants, and these plants will automatically act to protect its user when the user happens to end up in danger. The extent to which this power works ranges from causing giant tentacle-like roots to whack at any potential threats to releasing powerful chemicals that may induce delirium to sewing up the user's wounds with microscopic plant fibers. The largest weakness to this ability is that it takes years of care for any plant to become empathetic.
Motile/Giant Plants[]
In addition to giving "feelings" to any plants the user takes care of, the plants the user takes care of gain the ability to move with the user and grow far larger than they normally would. Regarding the movement, any plant the user takes care of will dive underground and follow the user goes if the user travels far enough from where they were planted. Regarding the increase in size, a flower that is ten centimeters from root to petal would grow up to ten feet under the user's care. The largest weakness to this ability is that it takes years of care for any plant to become empathetic.
